Print Info

All our prints are created by our in-house team at the MinaLima print facility: The Art Printorium. We print on high-end digital printers on 100% cotton rag paper, using long-lasting, archival pigment inks. For our Wizarding World Premium Collections, we add gold, silver or colour foils by hand to imitate the original graphic prop from the films.

What is the difference between Premium and Standard prints?

Premium prints created with artwork from the Wizarding World usually are in a limited edition print run of 250. Each print is often embellished with gold, silver or colour foil, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered, embossed and signed by Miraphora and Eduardo. In our Illustrated classics prints collection there are only 150 in a standard edition print run.

Standard prints created with artwork from the Wizarding World usually are in a limited edition print run of 1000. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered, embossed and signature-stamped. In our Illustrated classics prints collection there are only 250 in a standard edition print run.

What is an edition?

An edition is a limited run of an artwork which is made up of a set number of prints in a set number of sizes. Once they’ve gone, they’ve gone! If you are a Collector please go to our page if you’d like to buy a series of the same or similar edition numbers. If you see A/P on any of our photographs, this shows it is only an artist’s proof.

What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

It’s a document that includes the artwork title, its provenance and edition number. It shows that your print is the genuine article. We recommend always keeping this with your print, even once framed. All of our Wizarding World prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity, our MinaLima prints do not come with this certificate.

Why are some Wizarding World prints available in just one size, and others in three sizes?

We reproduce artworks as close as possible to the size they appeared in the films. Sometimes this means we can offer different sizes, if there were different sizes in the films (e.g. posters, packaging designs). Although they may not be available online, if you would like to purchase one of these alternate sizes then please get in touch with us.

Do your actual prints look exactly like the ones online?

We work on specially calibrated screens. Every artwork we print looks just like it appears on our screens. But all screens are different. This means colours and tones of actual prints could look different to what you see on your screen. Apart from colour and tone, they’ll be exactly the same, we try to make sure the photographs you see of our prints and products are as close possible to the real thing.

Is paper size and image size the same?

No. We have three standard paper sizes, and the image sizes vary according to the artwork. This means that all prints will have a white border. You can find the dimensions of the actual image size in the product description section on each product page, this is particularly helpful if you are thinking about framing your print.

How do I look after my piece?

We recommend that you try to frame it as soon as you can. Until then, keep it flat, between the sheets of tissue we sent it in, and out of harm’s way. If it’s curled up because of the tube it came in, put books or a flat weight on top to flatten it. If you are not able to keep it flat, rest assure it will flatten once it is inside a frame. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. If possible, keep your Certificate of Authenticity in the frame, too.

How do you send them?

Prints are sent rolled. Most orders are sent with FedEx, in some cases we may use an alternative courier service such as Royal Mail or DPD.

You will be able to track its journey online. Someone must be at your delivery address when your parcel arrives to accept it. If your print arrives damaged please get in touch, and we can arrange a replacement
