Behind the design
Part of his research for the bestselling book 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them', Newt's sketched journal pages outline his studies on the habitats and characteristics of magical creatures. Our design features a sketch of the mischievous Niffler, with observations about the beast including their natural propensity for all things shiny, their excellent abilities to burrow and forage, and of course, where to find them. Stamped with Newt's personal monogram and hand-drawn by Miraphora, this design was created to look well-worn to show its use by the Magizoologist on his extensive travels.
