In this scene, Harry realises in horror that Professor Umbridge's enchanted quill carves the punishing phrase 'I must not tell lies' into the back of his hand. The frame surrounding the illustration takes inspiration from the Great Hall entrance and the recognisable view of Hogwarts, featuring iconic graphic props designed by MinaLima including the patronising textbook 'Dark Arts Defence Basics for Beginners' and the Proclamation notices. As the pink ornaments from Professor Umbridge's sickly-sweet office decorate the scene, pivotal film moments from her increasingly harsh regime as Hogwarts High Inquisitor illustrate the frame.
