ABOUT
Organise your pens, pencils and quills in wizarding luxury with our ceramic pot featuring gilded details from Sirius Black's ancestral family tree. Inspired by the Black Family Tapestry, this design reimagines the authentic graphic prop created by MinaLima for the film 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.
Behind the design
Stumbled upon by Harry at 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black Family Tapestry weaves together the ancient and modern lineage of his godfather Sirius, whose portrait, alongside those of other disgraced family members, has been burnt out of the tapestry. Our design features familiar favourites from the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, recreated in delicate gold linework. Revisiting one of our most iconic graphic props, MinaLima designed a gilded version of the ancestral tree mirroring the spirit of the original tapestry’s sprawling branches and notorious family members, with Sirius’ portrait blotted out with a furious splatter of gold.
