Delve into the details with our limited edition art print featuring infamous witches and wizards from the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. A hand-drawn detail from the Black Family Tapestry, this design is based on the authentic graphic prop originally created by MinaLima for the film 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.
Behind the design
Stumbled upon by Harry at 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black Family Tapestry weaves together the ancient and modern lineage of his godfather Sirius, whose portrait, alongside those of other disgraced family members, has been burnt out of the tapestry. Our design features a tapestry detail from the full family tree, showing five members of the current generation from Draco Malfoy, Harry's arch-nemesis, to notorious Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange. Hand-drawn by Miraphora, this depiction of the Black Family Tapestry was illustrated following the authentic ancestry lines, with the destroyed portrait of Sirius blotted out with a furious splatter of emerald green ink.
