The Lestrange Family Tree

Stolen from the French Ministry of Magic by Grindelwald’s followers, the Lestrange Family Tree details the lineage of the ancient wizarding family and reveals the existence of a baby boy named Corvus. Our design features the decorative family tree, surrounded by the Lestrange insignia and coat of arms, with its twisting branches bearing the names and faces of only male descendants (the female family members depicted simply as flowers). Painted and foiled by hand, MinaLima’s design for the family tree was animated in the film to grow and blossom out of an ornate wooden casket, revealing the ‘historically accurate’ names of the pure-blood family members that were provided by J.K Rowling.
