Behind the design
Seen been touted among students throughout the Triwizard Tournament, these betting slips were created by the troublemaking twosome Fred and George Weasley. Our design features the two tickets with their misaligned Triwizard Cup stamp detail on the front and roulette wheel and betting box surrounded by tiny celestial details on the reverse. MinaLima used complementary colours across the tickets to evoke the mischievous and fun characters of the Weasley Twins, also using off-set stamps, letterpress techniques and cheap paper to convey that these ephemeral tickets would have been made as quickly and cheaply as possible by the entrepreneurial twins.
