Behind the design
Travelling between Platform 9¾ at London King's Cross Station and Hogsmeade, the Hogwarts Express is the iconic transportation used by students to reach Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Our design features the Hogwarts Express Luggage Label with its striking illustration of the impressive locomotive and the iconic ticket which Hagrid gives to Harry. Inspired by classic railway posters, MinaLima designed the label for the Platform 9¾ set, and it was used on Fred Weasley's suitcase as he runs through the apparently solid barrier concealing the platform from the muggle world.
