OUR BOOKS
What is the MinaLima book offering?
With every book purchased from minalima.com or House of MinaLima London from 10th April 2024 (01:00 BST), you will receive:
MinaLima Bookplate:
We have two bookplates to choose from: illustrated and personalised. Each bookplate features a decorative gold foil design with an Ex Libris section to make your book your very own.
Free Book Print:
An exclusive book print featuring a working sketch taken from the design process of our MinaLima editions. Free with every book purchase, there is a unique design for each of the book titles in our library.
Why have we introduced this?
The MinaLima Library has grown beyond our wildest dreams since we published our first book in 2011 —and it is all due to our readers who continue to love our MinaLima editions. Our book offering is our way of thanking you by giving you something extra special, directly from the makers and creators of the books.
When does the book offering take effect?
Our book offering takes effect from 10th April 2024 at 01:00 BST.
Where can I get a MinaLima bookplate or book print?
Our book offering is exclusive to minalima.com and House of MinaLima London.
Can I buy a MinaLima bookplate or book print individually?
Our MinaLima bookplates and book prints are not available individually. These exclusives are a special gift to our readers when they purchase a book from minalima.com or House of MinaLima London.
What makes the book prints different from our art prints?
For the first time, you can own a piece of the creativity from the early stages of our design process with each book print featuring a working sketch from the making of our MinaLima editions. Every book title has its own unique working sketch, offering you insight into the start of the journey of an illustration found inside the book.
While our art prints are available for purchase, our book prints are exclusive to our book offering and only available with a book purchase.
How long will it take to create my personalised bookplate?
Our personalised bookplates are printed on-demand, just for you. Please allow 3-5 business days for production plus our standard shipping times. See our
Delivery page for more shipping details.
Are there any restrictions for the personalised bookplate?
Currently each personalised bookplate is printed with our own font that was designed and created using Miraphora Mina’s handwriting, this font only includes accented characters to support Western Latin languages. Emojis and any other images are not supported.
Can I request a hand-written dedication when I purchase a book?
Our personalised bookplates are the way to add your own custom message to your book. With a 100 character limit, write your name, a special message or even your favourite quote and we will print it onto your bookplate especially for you.
Why are all books at minalima.com and House of MinaLima London not hand-signed anymore?
Since our first book was published, Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima have hand-signed over 100,000 books and absolutely loved every minute of it. After almost a decade of hand-signing every copy from our studio in London, it’s time to make way for all things new and exciting. In order to keep making the MinaLima editions that you know and love as well as explore some very special creative projects, we need our creators to spend more time creating. We thank you for understanding – of course it will also allow them to make even more magic for you all!
Can I still buy a book with the original hand-signed bookplate?
Our original hand-signed bookplate will be retired to make way for our new book offering from 10th April 2024 (01:00 BST). Visit the
About Our Books page to discover more about our book offering.
Will Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima still be hand-signing any books?
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima will still hand-sign books during signing events, new book launches, and other special occasions.

OUR ART PRINTS
How do you create your art prints?
All our art prints are created by our in-house team at the MinaLima print facility: The Art Printorium. We print on high-end digital printers on 100% cotton rag paper, using long-lasting, archival pigment inks. For our Wizarding World Premium Collections, we add gold, silver or colour foils by hand to imitate the original graphic prop from the films.
What’s the difference between Premium and Standard art prints?
Premium prints are a limited edition of 250. Each art print is often embellished with gold, silver or colour foil, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered, embossed and signed by Miraphora and Eduardo. Standard prints are a limited edition of 1000. Each art print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered, embossed and signature-stamped.
What is an edition?
An edition is a limited run of an artwork which is made up of a set number of art prints in a set number of sizes. Once they’ve gone, they’ve gone!
What is a Certificate of Authenticity?
It’s a document that includes the artwork title, its provenance and edition number. It shows it’s the genuine article. We recommend always keeping this with your art print, even once framed.
Why are some Wizarding World art prints available in just one size, and others in three sizes?
We reproduce artworks as close as possible to the size they appeared in the films. Sometimes this means we can offer different sizes, if there were different sizes in the films (e.g. posters, packaging designs)
Will my art print match what I’m shown online?
Our online images accurately represent the design, size and scale of our art prints. Colours and tones vary across different screens and resolutions however we do our best to match our online images to our printed colours. All art prints are sold unframed and lifestyle images are provided for inspirational purposes only.
Is paper size and image size the same?
No. We have three standard paper sizes, and the image sizes vary according to the artwork. This means that all art prints will have a white border. You can find the dimensions of the actual image size in the product description section on each product page.
