Behind the design

This print features original designs by MinaLima created for The Great Wizarding Express. Taking inspiration from the graphic style of interwar railway posters, this was an exciting opportunity to create a visual identity for the first wizarding train since the Hogwarts Express, combining the aesthetic of bygone industrial technologies like steam engines with the fascinating qualities of magic. The London to Berlin ticket and magazine for first-class passengers feature a railway motif that can also be seen in bas-relief above the fireplace where Dumbledore's allies are assembled.
