Behind the design
In this scene, Harry eagerly grasps one of the countless swirling letters inundating the Dursley's living room, unaware that his ordinary life is about to be transformed. The frame surrounding the illustration takes inspiration from recognisable Hogwarts architecture and the Mirror of Erised, featuring the iconic graphic prop of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Acceptance Letter designed by MinaLima. As the flock of Hogwarts delivery owls clamour to deliver their wizarding post to Number 4 Privet Drive, Hagrid’s magical pink umbrella lies against the base of the frame.
