Overview:

Working closely alongside Sameera Hanif, MinaLima’s external Head of Communications, the Marketing Manager will develop and implement the marketing strategy to meet growth ambitions at House of MinaLima. With a background in marketing in the creative world, you will be able to think strategically, driving the big picture while delivering on the details. You will have a deep understanding of what marketing levers to pull and how to do it to meet our growth targets. This is an exciting and varied role with a huge opportunity to build awareness and desire for the brand, work with an amazing team and spread the magic of MinaLima!

The Company:

Welcome to MinaLima! Founded in 2009 by Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, the graphic designers who imagined and created the graphic universe of the Harry Potter™ film series for Warner Bros. Their partnership has flourished through all the subsequent films with their prop designs inspiring a range of merchandise products and art prints.  This has enabled our retail arm, The Art Printorium/ HoML, to continue to expand, and we are now a very successful small business with robust international growth plans to scale our business x10 in the next 5 years.

Your Role:

Strategy and planning:

  • Create an integrated marketing strategy for House of MinaLima to drive our growth plans, increasing awareness, engagement and sales
  • Bring an understanding of all marketing channels with particular focus on CRM, PR, paid-media and social media
  • Lead the marketing aspect of the MinaLima 3.0 programme – the next iteration of the digital buying experience 
  • Work with the senior team to set ambitious KPIs: focus on increasing conversion rates: sales on e-commerce channels, users from social channels to MinaLima website, and working with Social Media Manager to build our active community on social channels

Implementation and execution:

  • Overall responsibility for the Marketing department of House of MinaLima
  • Develop and deliver marketing plans while managing and inspiring a team to support the business plan
  • Ensure we are meeting industry standards and compliance – for example GDPR
  • Bring a sufficient understanding of data and analytics to translate insights into compelling, creative and innovative marketing solutions, as well as optimising current activations
  • Ensure that the key metrics are met and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Evaluate and implement a suitable CRM system and ensure that all marketing data is recorded and that reporting is in place to evaluate ROI.

Team:

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Communications, Managing Director and Founding Partners to create the strategic marketing plans which builds the awareness of House of MinaLima and delivers the corporate ambition
  • Develop strong and effective relationships with internal / external teams and stakeholders: merchandise, sales
  • Provide day-to-day management of direct reports, overseeing the creation of marketing materials
  • Lead and nurture direct reports using and delivering on our core competencies and performance framework
  • Support the leadership team in increasing their profiles in the creative landscape

Skills Required:

  • Marketing expert with particular expertise in CRM
  • Minimum of 7-8 years experience
  • Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies and delivering the campaigns on a day-to-day
  • Experience of using the entire marketing mix to deliver impactful campaigns and results
  • Flexible, adaptable and collaborative; able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Pro-active with a strong sense of self-motivation
  • Able to build a point of view and bring people along with you
  • Confident and articulate; able to listen, communicate with and present to people at all levels of the organisation
  • An innovative and high-level strategic thinker

The Details:

  • 40 hours per week, full time
  • Fully in-office working within our Soho, London studio
  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Permanent contract
